Job Title: RC Drill Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RC Drill Operator to join our team. This role requires a relevant qualification and a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the gold mining industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operating and driving reverse circulation drills to drill holes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and drive reverse circulation drills to drill holes in accordance with safety and operational procedures

- Conduct pre-start checks and maintenance on drilling equipment

- Monitor drilling progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and accurate drilling

- Record and report drilling data and any issues or concerns to the supervisor

- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

- Maintain a high standard of physical fitness to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather and terrain conditions

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective drilling operations

- Assist with other tasks on the drill rig and at the drill site as needed

Requirements:

- Relevant qualification in drilling or mining

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in RC exploration or grade control drilling, preferably in the gold mining industry

- Proven experience operating and driving reverse circulation drills

- Strong understanding of drilling techniques and equipment

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in physically demanding and remote environments

- High level of attention to detail and safety awareness

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
