Job Description:

Position: Geophysicist

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Geophysicist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gold and copper exploration and a proven track record in conducting induced Polarization (IP) surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct and oversee geophysical surveys for gold and copper exploration projects

- Design and implement IP surveys using the latest equipment and software

- Analyze and interpret geophysical data to identify potential mineral deposits

- Collaborate with geologists and other team members to integrate geophysical data with geological information

- Provide technical guidance and support to field staff

- Prepare and present reports and presentations on geophysical findings to clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge and experience in gold and copper exploration

- Proven experience in conducting induced Polarization (IP) surveys

- Familiarity with field instrumentation and relevant software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as required
